Here's a little information on all the different bands and projects I am currently involved with.

Spookie Daly Pride:
Spookie Daly Pride is an original band from Boston that consists of Spookie Daly on keys and vocals, Floyd Kellogg on bass, Tommy Diehl on drums and myself on guitar. Often described as "the most fun you can have with your clothes on", the music is high energy, danceable, and very catchy. Spookie's ragtime and blues influenced piano style and unique vocals give the band a sound that must be seen and heard. We play mostly on Nantucket during the summer and Ski resorts in the winter, but are known to play in the big cities from time to time. I really enjoy the energy and good time vibe of this band, and I am thankful to have the opportunity to play with them. Website: www.myspace.com/spookiedalypride

John Mayock and The Homesteaders:
John Mayock and The Homesteaders are an original band consisting of John Mayock (guitar/vocals), Jeff Belcher on bass/vocals, Dennis Cotton on drums and myself on guitar and backup vocals. Hailing from Granby Ct, the band has a decidedly Folk Rock or Americana with influences such as The Buffalo Springfield and Steve Earle mixed in with the rawness of The Band and Tom Petty. Their songwriting skills have been a big eye opener for me and they have been very generous with how much of myself they let me put into their music. One of my favorite bands to play with. The Matt Zeiner Band:
The Matt Zeiner Band is a recent opportunity for me. This is the second incarnation of the MZB focusing more on groove, feel, and vocals as well as instrumental showcasing. Matt is an extremely talented young keyboardist, vocalist, and songwriter who has worked with Street Temperature, Jeff Pevar, Melvin Sparks, Matt Guitar Murphy, and the Dickey Betts Band to name a few. This band has leanings into jazz, blues, gospel and soul as well as rock. The band consists of Matt Zeiner on keys/vocals, Ramon Morant on guitar/vocals, and myself on guitar/vocals as well as an alternating lineup of extremely talented drummers. This is the most challenging music I have ever played. Website: www.myspace.com/mattzeiner

DJ3 (The Dr. Juice Trio):
Dr. Juice has been around since around '2000. We have recently reformed after a lengthy hiatus due to personal issues with some band members. Now stripped down to a trio, the band consists of Joe O'Brien on bass/vocals, Mike Rau on drums/vocals and myself on guitar/vocals. The bands music is tight but loose with extended improvisations and instrumental interplay. Rock, Jazz, Blues, Country, Comedy, DJ3 can pretty much do it all. I really get to explore the instrument with this band. Website: www.myspace.com/drjuicetrio

Shortness:
Shortness (otherwise known as Brett and Friends) is another band that has been around for a while, since about 2002. Consisting of Brett Connors on guitar/vocals, Mike Sherman on bass/vocals, Jonathan Lichtig on drums, and myself on guitar and vocals, the band has always been a hodge-podge of originals by Brett Connors, as well as cover songs with a unique spin on them to make them sound like our own. The trademark is breaking into hoedowns in any given tune, and speeding up until we can't play any faster. It is basically a novelty at this time, all the bands members are busy with other projects and we rarely get together anymore, but when we do it just happens, like a well oiled machine. Spaghetti Cake:
Spaghetti Cake is a children's band I have been playing with for almost ten years. More appropriately labeled as "a rock band for the whole family", the band consists of Glen Nelson on keys and vocals, Sue Nelson on vocals, Todd Howard on bass/vocals, Chris Eddy on percussion/vocals and Mike Tierney on drums. WE usually play at Schools during the day, as well as festivals and showcases. We just released a new live album in December of 2009. I have always had fun playing with this band as I feel it's important to connect positively with kids and promote music education. Website: www.spaghetticake.com

Dennis and Mike:
The duo I have with Mike Rau has two identities. One is an acoustic duo that we do from time to time for fun, and mostly involves cover songs and the odd original. The other is as a songwriting and recording team. We are currently working on a CD together on which only the two of us play all the instruments. Mike is a multi-instrumentalist who is equally talented at drums, guitar, keyboards, as well as lyrics and vocals. During our time in Dr. Juice we discovered that we have a mutual love for Steely Dan and our music is highly influenced by them. Our CD is tentatively titled "Why Stop Now" and we hope to release it sometime by 2045. Website: www.myspace.com/dennisandmike

Laura Ganci:
I first heard Laura Ganci when she opened the show for the Matt Zeiner Band in January 2011. After Buying her CD, I knew I had to work with her. I went out on a limb and asked her if she would be interested in someone backing her up to add some different colors to her songs, and she happily agreed. It's really been an honor to be able to play with her and I always look forward to the next one as she is a great friend and person too. Be sure to check out her CD entitled "Sung To" available on her website and Cdbaby.com. Website: www.Lauraganci.com

Mike Greca:
Mike Greca is a songwriting machine who I met a few years back after he asked me to play on his record. I was only a week away from becoming a father, so I had to decline, but told him to keep me in mind for future projects. Lucky for me, 2011 has proven to be the time for those future projects. I have recorded tracks for his upcoming CD and am also booking duo and trio shows with him. He is a master of crafting haunting arrangements, very clever guitar parts and intelligent lyrics. A treat to play with for sure. You can find more out about Mike at his website. Website: www.Mikegreca.com
